Last week's results
A bit of a tough day out across our Hawk's sides, although the Premier's holding on at Avalon was a key 5 points. Match reports below for those available:
Premier Reserves (Tom B)
A tough day at the office for the lads this week. An early score from Avalon got the game underway. We continued to fight until the end scoring on the final whistle to come away with a 22-12 loss. Thanks to everyone that came down to support.
Forward of the day - Ofa Ueseli
Back of the day - Aaron Fawkes
Cripples (Noff)
The Cripples went to an impressive Maidstone park complex to play the young Pirates team. Unfortunately playing as we have the last few weeks not taking our opportunities when presented and letting easy opportunities present for our opposition.
We had good numbers but we need to lift our game. Small grade this year, very even 6 teams. Always positives to take away and we will be back to work Wednesday then the main game Saturday vs Norths to turn things around.
POD N Medder impressive all round game
Thanks to PBC, ABT, Compton Civil
CEO Noff
Pressies (Trina)
This week the Pressies played at the Porirua Park against Norths. Our J'ville pressies played with heart and were down 19-5 at one point and came back to make it 19 all by the end of the game. So in true pressies style was 10-10 the finishing score. Thanks to all the players who turned up. To our injured rest up. Thanks to the supporters that came to watch the old guys, we appreciate it. This week the J'ville pressies play Tawa at the early time of 12pm at Lyndhurst Park, Tawa hope to see you there. Cheers.
This week's games
Most of our sides head down the road to the place we know so well. Carman Cup for our Premier's and the boys will be looking to retain the silverware from a memorable win last year at home. Note, the Colts lads have a Friday match;
Good luck lads!
